We had an incredible dinner at Dagg Thai. Special thanks to our waitress for the outstanding service. She greeted us warmly, gave thoughtful recommendations for signature dishes and helped adjust spiciness exactly to our preference. She checked on us timely, refilled drinks and was patient with all our questions. Her friendly and professional manner elevated the whole dining experience. Food was full of authentic Thai flavours. Highly recommend this spot and we will return!

Really enjoyed our dinner at Dagg Thai! The Goong Kua Prik Klua (Thai-style salt & pepper shrimp) was definitely my favorite — the shrimp were perfectly cooked, super flavorful, and packed with garlicky, savory flavor. So good with the Khao Pad Pu, which came with generous chunks of crab meat. We also tried the Larb Lamb and Tom Yum soup, both flavorful and well balanced. For mocktails, we had the Kiwi Breeze, Tang Mo Jah, and Buay in USA — all refreshing and great with the spicy dishes. Great spot for modern Thai food in Midtown. Would definitely come back!

We got the fixed dinner menu and that was great. Marinated lamb chops and the plate was really good. But the fish was way more better. Appetizers are also great. Shrimp cooked with coconut milk was my favorite. Only thing I didn’t like much was sorbet. It wasn’t my dessert I guess. The other dessert was great. Expensive but worth it. If you are looking for a different kitchen to taste, definitely go here.

I wanted to treat my visiting parents to good food, and I was happy we could be seated right away at a popular, very highly-rated restaurant during peak hours. The experience was a net positive but marred by a few preventable issues. First, the food itself was inconsistent. The signature dishes like the crispy branzino and the scallops wrap were very tasty and beautifully presented (I would consider visiting again for those two alone), but I couldn’t say the same about other “standard” items like pad thai and mango salad, which had overcooked/overfried meat and uneven seasoning. Second, the restaurant is simply understaffed, and the servers seemed exhausted and stretched thin. It took long to have simple requests like napkins taken care of, and the staff seemed forced to handle several things at once. This issue is really on the management. Making matters worse, more than a dozen waiting guests were crowding the entrance area near which we were seated, making it incredibly noisy and difficult for the servers to access our table. The restaurant space seemed acoustically ill-designed to absorb loud noise, so that probably didn’t help, either. Finally, I didn’t feel comfortable wi

Fantastic Thai restaurant with some of the best wagyu basil stir-fry I have had. The Kaprow Wagyu was outstanding – tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with fresh chili and basil. The crispy pork version was also excellent, and the fried egg on top was cooked just right. The Lawson’s Hop Wired IPA paired surprisingly well with the spicy food. Service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere without feeling too noisy. Prices are not cheap, but the quality justifies it. Definitely a place I would return to next time I am in New York.
